- Ni 9214 is designed for a high-precision high-channel counting system. It has a front-end fixed junction box (tb-9214), CJC sensors in multiple junction boxes, and a component layout that minimizes thermal gradient to increase overall accuracy.

- Ni 9214 measures the common mode voltage level of each channel. If the signal is outside the common mode voltage range, it returns a warning in the software.

Thermocouples with higher wire resistance may introduce more significant errors.
