Wes pricing for attractions
I don't remember seeing this on the WES website last year....reduced pricing for attractions:
https://www.hello-usa.com/tickets/westix09/ I'm thinking about buying a "one day after 2pm" pass for either universal ($48)or Disney ($58). Does anyone know if these are good deals or not? Or, should I wait to buy tickets in Orlando. Never been to either place before and wouldn't mind checking one of them out. |
Nice. This wasn't available last year.
As for the after 2pm tickets, you need to look at when the park closes to determine if you'll have enough time to do and see what you want. They parks are pretty big. |

Looks like Epcot is open until 9pm. I know the place is quite large, but I should be able to take a quick tour around. Yes? akosnitzky: you're a Florida resident! (lucky you) I'm thinking you've probably been to Disney quite a few times. Do you (or anyone else) know the "must see" places @ Epcot? |

Both Universal Studios parks are very good which are NOT Disney Parks but are just as big and busy. You should buy all your tix in Orlando. In addition, you will find deals there. If I knew more about your interests and the age group of your party that may help. For example, one of the Universal Studio Parks is attraction type rides , while the other is more roller coaster oriented. I think the Universal Studios Park is superior to Disney MGM. |

Mission: Space Soarin' Test Track |
As Darth began to discuss, I see EPCOT as a whole day and with any park it depends on your interests. Although, I do believe everyone should do Magic Kingdom at least once

Just FYI - Space Mountain will be down for refurb - I believe it goes down in mid- April
Plus a new attraction at the Studios - Toy Story Mania is AWESOME!! But the lines are still quite long |
Wirelessly posted
The Toy Story attraction was great but it was also the longest line of any thing that we went on during my last trip to Disney. |
Any support for Universal Studios?

Video - Breaking News Videos from CNN.com Each time I go to Universal, there's a ride that is broken or breaks or is under repair or is being refurbished. Scary, man. |

Cheap Tickets
I have been to this event for 4 years and now it will be 5 and the best price for tickets I found are through the Hotels. Especially the ones that have the disney sotres in them. Last year we could of bought the same after 2pm ticket for half the price we paid from using the discount link setup by RIM.

What i would do is call the hotel you are staying at and see if they offer any discount tickets. If not then maybe you can get someone from the event to hook you up and buy tickets from the hotel they are staying at.

So Should I Plan on Universal If I Only Have 1 Day
Got approval - going to WES for the first time! I really only have Sunday to attend a park, as I fly home early on Friday and stuff seems to close early (what is the deal with closing at 6?) - and sessions go to 5:30. So, should I spend that day at Universal, then?
Owe you an faux beer darthberry used your justification doc as a template for my own. Thanks! |
