BB 9800 Keeps Searching For Network and Hanging

What could have been the cause? my blackberry torch was always "searching for network" and i was told to reload the OS with latest version and I did it and it is still doing the same and keeps hanging up. And i upgraded again and downgraded it back and again, the problem still exists. Please help me.

As in the BlackBerry may be broken. A hardware issue. A broken blackberry.
