Barry doesn't support non-english character?
 

My BB is 8800, and I am using ubuntu 9.10. I have backuped my address book using Barry, but didn't test the restore function of it. I lost half of my contacts last night due to resetting bb using "Funambol". So I tried to restore the address book by Barry from backuped data, then all my contacts (Chinese) lost except three of those using english.

Does Barry support non-english characters? I think: since BB is using UTF8 encoding, it will support Chinese characters naturely!

Is there anybody using Barry?

please check all settings about language it should support english .

Hi felonwan,

You should check to make sure you have a East Asia Language version of the Device software and or make sure when you first boot the device you select more then english during the setup wizard.
