+1 for Opera Mini. I'm using 6.5 on my 9650 and it has given my phone a second lease on life. Using proxy servers takes the load off the slowish processor and allows it to render pages really...

It helps to shrink the os before installing. I have no complaints with os6. The only time I get a lag is when the phone is looking for a signal. Seems that takes priority over any other processes....

When I first got my 8530 it had the option under the network options menu to set the phone to "home only" then it just disappeared.

I hoped that updating the os to .886 would bring it back but no...
