That sounds familiar....I'll check with lotus if there is either on the local or on the remote server the possibility to trace this 'strange' failing API calls.
Would just be easier to claim money...

How did you trace that down ? Do you have any debug parameter ? or did you find anything in logfiles ?
Any help appreciated, as I need to pin it down before sending someone on a 12 hour flight.

we're having similar problems as described. In our case it sounds like the incompatible version problem (Unread Mark Sync Problem between 6.5.x and 5.0.x servers).
