in the "location settings" I have the "location services" switched to on. But somehow the location shows all zero. Seems it has never been able to enable the GPS.

it would have to be with a voice. but yes a guided map is what I need. but I guess my best option will be to go for a standalone version. I sort of hoped an app would have been developed for BB.

That was exactly it. Great. I had to unactivate the wireless synching with gmail and hotmail. Now works. Super :-)

it turned out that the provider only offered me a BES solution. After a long struggle we managed to convince them to also offer me a BIS solution. Now everything works like a charm.
