Now it has nothing but a white screen, totally white nothing else, ive triped fixes ive seen on the internet forums, i even bought a new LCD for it and replaced it, the fone seems to work fine, but all i have is a white screen, anyone else have this problem?? am i screwed here should i just dump the fone?

I have already hooked it up to the BB desktop software and updated it several times , No Luck at all, i have read online quite a few people have had this issue, i even went as far as putting black electrical tape under the screen where the MIni USB port is as explained on another forum, and nothing, have tried it all!!! really cant afford another BB ..
