hi, just plugged my phone in to charge it and it has shown up with a battery sign with a red X over it and wont charge. phone was fine last night. any ideas?

Have you let it run down past 20% on a regular basis?

Try a new battery. an OEM one,not a cheap knockoff, and see if that works.

yes let it rundown however its not the battery ive tried my mates orignial from his phone and it just wont power up.
