Hello everyone, sure hope you can help im going batty over this...

I recently installed a BPS for 11 users and thanks to the guide provided by RIM on their site, had no issues whatsoever installing and configuring, as well as adding users.

My only roadblock is a contact list with 1600 entries.

The user has his main contacts in outlook (about 450 entries). He also had an additional contacts folder in the mailbox that was from a previous employee which contains 1600+ contacts. We activated him without knowing about this additional list and wammo he has 2100 entries to look through on his blackberry when he wants to send mail, about 400 are duplicates between the two lists.

My solution: Deleted the additional folder and cleared it out of deleted items. Grabbed his device and did a wipe and battery pull. Then removed his account on the BB server and op'ted to remove BB user data when prompted. Waited about 20 minutes for the queue to empty then re-added the user and had him run activation again. BUT he still gets all the 2100 contacts. When activating it does show two address books being sent to the device, even though the other is no longer in his mailbox in outlook.

Im stumped as we went through this a couple times with the same result. Anyone have any fresh ideas
