How's this... I have been using the internet for a very long time... since before there was Windows... When I started using the internet in 1989 (ya... that long ago) there was telnet, gopher and ftp. I was a 13 year old kid with a 286 learning to program in C, downloading code off the internet at the U of W (some of you may know where this place is) because my neighbour was a prof there and knew I was interested in it.

I have been on more forums than I can count, been through nearly every phase of communication... irc, im's, forums, etc. except for blogging (isn't it completely useless). I have a pretty good idea of how things should run when it comes to this and a pretty good idea of how to balance out something like this... You can't let anyone come and make an unmoderated post in a matter of minutes. People will get ticked off about something, do a quick google, find something like this and then without thinking objectively make a post that is complete flaimbait. People aren't thinking straight when they come here for the first time for the most part, usually they are tiffed about something, and unless the first posts are moderated, we get what we have here... the elders scolding the noobs.

As hard as it is for people to believe, I really do know what I am talking about... my favourite saying in life is that 'experience makes you wise...' I have more than enough experience.
