Default Aural call quality underwater?

Please Login to Remove!

Well my lady just gave me a Storm today, and the caller (me) sounds to the person talking to me as if I'm underwater or my mouth is full of lima beans. Hmmm.

I am considering taking it back and changing down to a 9000 Bold. Real keys for the email I need, but here's the rub, WHAT is the call quality like?

I had a friend of mine look at me surprised, and say, " . . . all Blackberries sound like that!'' Obviously he's not a BB user. One of my friends who calls me from his BB always sounds underwater, so I'm beginning to wonder. What do you all experience?

If the voice quality was an issue people would not be buying them. I suggest you exchange the Storm. If you want a Bold you will have to switch to AT&T.

Wirelessly posted (Katerpillars on the air!)

Got the bold here and calls when on 3G are without doubt the clearest and fullest that I've ever heard!

When on GPRS its still really clear just not as good as the 3G but both on the bold are better than any other phone that I've owned
