Default interenet in Flip pearl?

Please Login to Remove!

I can browser the internet couple days ago and today suddenly it is gone; there is no internet in my flip pearl any more. I remembered I did not do anything today. Now the signal bar is pink with capital letters UMA underneath, and the internet browser gives me an error message: Unable to connect to the internet, please try later. I can do everything except the internet.

I try the APN setting as wap.voicestream.com and epc.tmobile.com. But both of them are not good.

I tried to call T-Mobile and they ask me using other phone to communicate. Basically i do not have another phone.
Anybody has any clue of what is wrong with my phone?

You "will" need the data plan.

Yeah, you should be able to use the browser with Wi-Fi... I did for a couple of weeks before a data plan....
The data plan allows you to use the browser for EDGE/UMA or whatever...

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 8320 Curve)

Just go into your browser settings and make sure you have set to "hotspot browser"

I am not suggest you get the kickstart. It's browser stinks and also the screen is way too small. Blackberry storm maybe good.

I switched to the hotspot and the browser is back. thank you again.

another question is I can NOT use the third party software such as handy weather, windows live messager. I called t-mobile and it looks like they can not do much except asking me to update the OS. My OS is 4.6.195 with Asian language.

Any clue for me to solve this problem?
