I am having problems connecting my BB to my macbook laptop. Both are enabled with bluetooth but the laptop keeps telling me to make sure my phone is "discoverable" I asked for help in how to do this and got the following reply.

Options > Bluetooth > Menu > Add Device > Listen.

I tried this but the phone then said "No device paired. Be sure to initiate pairing on the other device first.

I tried to do this but the macbook is still telling me to make sure the other device is "discoverable.

Please can anyone offer me some help.

Sorry - I am new to all of this and I thought I had posted it in the wrong forum when I saw the forum specifically for Bluetooth.

When a moderator notices it, they will move to the appropriate forum. For future reference, post in your current thread that you think the thread should be moved. Creating a new thread just adds clutter and makes it difficult for someone that is searching.
