When I plug in my headset that came with it, the 1 that has the ear buds with the mic that clips to your shirt, I get nothing but a buzzing noise. I am running v4.6.0.247, and have AT&T. I have used regular ear buds before and they work, but every so often, the voice command will turn on and say "say a command". It it not the end of the world, but shouldn't the factory headset work fine???

maybe u have a defective headset ? try hitting up at&t for a new one...

I know it worked before, because I have used it when I bought it. I just didn't know if using "regular" headphones would ruin something. Like I said, sometimes when I plug in my "regular" headphones, the voice command will turn on

nah, regular headphones are great for bb's....(unlike some iphones)

so far i've used 3 different sets from audiophile grade all the way to el cheapo headphones, no problems so far....

but your oem bb headphones have a mic attached, no ? i didn't even bother taking mine out of the plastic pouch, just left them in the box...

im not sure about the voice command thing, i don't see an option to turn it completely off....i would have liked to because i find it annoying, and my bt headset has it's own voice recognition...
