Default Calendar 'All Day Event' Quirk

Please Login to Remove!

I have already posted recently about frustrations with replicating the settings on my old 8100 onto my new 8120.

Most of these I can just patiently adjust (unless anyone can please tell me how I can replicate all settings???), but I think I am stich on the calendar quirk:

Any items that I had entered as an 'All Day Event' have now been copied over as starting at midnight finishing at midnight, with those hours bracketed for the appointment.

Is there any way around this, short of changing every calendar entry manually?!!

Clear the calendar with the DM and re-sync it.

I may have completely messed this up now....the resynch got me in a tangle with adds/changes/deletions and I am far from convinced that I did that properly.
However, I did have the foresight (due to a lack of confidence in my own abilities) to Back-up first. Would you be able to tell me how I can import that back up file (ie the data on my old handset) onto my new handset - ideally not confusing the 'all day event' interpretation on my new handheld.

As you can tell by now, you are not dealing with an expert here, so step-by-step instructions would be brilliant.

Thanks in advance.

Now sorted by downloading back-up file from old handset on to my new handset, rather than using the swich device wizard. That seems to heave resolved any conflicts with the calendar entries.
