Can anyone confirm whether information can be transferred from one Bluetooth device to the Blackberry 7100v (via bluetooth) and if so what I need to enable in order for it to happen.

I have tried this using my home PC and a Bluetooth USB dongle. My PC browses the location and identifies the Blackberry 7100v as within reach and displays it on the screen, however none of the services such as remote syncronisation, file transfer etc function as it say services not available on the device.

I was wondering if :-

a) this is possible
b) if so is it a device configuration change required to enable it

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've tried to get my Nokia 6310i phone, which has Bluetooth, to transfer its phone numbers to my BB 7100v - but to no avail.

Whilst I can pair them to each other, when I want to send a business card to the BB via Bluetooth, the phone displays 'Discoonect Blackberry - OK?'

Hey guys - the Bluetooth Connection forum is filled with lots of great information about the BlackBerry and BT, including the fact that the 7100s (except the 7100i) can not use the BT for anything but wireless audio/headsets and some newer wirelss keyboards. You can not transfer data using the BT. In the new version 4.1, which is not out yet for any 7100s except the 7100i, you can sync with some approved BT devices on a PC or laptop.
