Default Blackberry Music Gateway & non-BB devices

Please Login to Remove!

I have a RIM music gateway that I've been using with my Javelin, and it works great. I can't get it to work properly as an audio sink with my laptop though.

I'm using the Widcomm BT stack, and it will find the device every time. It only lists "headset" under services, and it will pair initially, but will not connect once added. I'm not even sure if the stack will stream Windows audio using the headset profile anyway, but I can't get it to work in order to test it.

Why the RIM device only offer the "Stereo Audio Gateway" service when paired with the Blackberry and only "Headset" when paired with the computer?
