I have a couple of questions, that I was hoping someone could help me with.

How do I make it so that text messages show up in my "messages" folder, rather than having to use the dedicated SMS folder?

How do I set my calls to forward to a different number?

On my "Google Mobile App", when I hold the "call" button, to speak what I want to search for, I get an error notification saying "Try restarting Google Mobile App". Any idea why?

To forward your calls,

Go into the phone app --> options --> call forwarding

in call forwarding, choose to always forward call, then choose new number or you can choose an existing number if you have forwarded calls before.


As for your google mobile app, make sure that you have set all the permissions for the app to allow. it should reboot. once the reboot takes place, you may have to reboot again.

I had to install the app twice and reboot a total of 5 times for it to work correctly. (but then again I am running 5.0.0.230)
