Has anyone seen Berry Weather 2.0 taking alot of memory? This one seems to suck it up good, is there a setting that would help?

Thanks

There are a lot of features in 2.0 and as typical - the more features the more memory the app can take. That said I've run it since it was first out and on either of the 2 devices I've used it on - it doesn't leak memory - though it does use a bit more than the previous version.

Some things you can do that will minimize memory usage:

1 - Don't use any of the Reflections widgets - in fact - don't use any widget - use Simple or Simple Dark for the display.

2 - Use the Classic icons instead of the high res Default icons.

3 - Don't use animations or enable optimize for smooth animations

Also - check out some of the custom radar maps over on the Bellshare website - a number of them load in less memory than the built-in radar map.

I also think that adding a lot of locations you don't really need is going to use more memory - it stores data for each location you have configured.
