Default help with my memory card

Please Login to Remove!

Hello i have just recieved my lovely bold 9700. The problem i have is with the memory card. I took the 2gb card out and replaced it with a 8gb card but it doesnt work. Can the 9700 handle the 8gb card. But it works with the 2 gb card.....

Yes - can handle up to a 32gb card. Try resetting the card and formatting it in the BlackBerry or on the PC if you have an adaptor for the PC to read the card.

Options > Media Card > Menu Key > Format Card.

now when i put the card back in in keeps turning the phone off. i treid using card on other phone and its doing same thing. ????

Reformat the card using your PC, and then try to install it.
