The fluctuating signal strength is killing me. I'm on my 3rd 9650, and they've all sucked equally. I've dropped a ton of calls, and had a bunch of garbled ones. This has never been an issue in the areas I travel in. I just picked up my 9630, but am going to hate going back to a trackball. Anyone find a hybrid with better CDMA code or is it a hardware issue?

That would be because the 9700 on t-mobile US has UMA.
The ability to make calls using wi-fi.
It doesnt suprise me, turning wi-fi off stopped that users problems.

However the 9650 doesn't have UMA. So is unlikely to help the OP here.
