Hey guys,

Can some one help me please. I have had my black berry bold 9000 for ages then the speaker dont work. I have tried most things

1. Remove battery door.
1B. If sound comes back skip #2
2. If still no sound, very gently try to move the grey flash assembly a fraction of a millimeter.
3.Tape a cutout piece of "something" (thin as a credit card) on ether side of the grey flash assembly just above the battery. this prevents the battery door from pressing the led box against the speaker.

also, try pushing the little white fabric (under the grey camera flash plate) inwards

if there's no sound at all , you'll prob need a new midplate. it's what fixed my friends 9k with the same symptom.
