Default BES this is serious :)

Hello..

I have done a search but it's not absolutely clear and there are plenty are older, perhaps out of date answers.

Question: I am a corporate user; I have no interest in games. Will Microsoft Exchange services work via a BES Server on a playbook 16gig:
  1. stand-alone; or,
  2. bridged; or,
  3. both; or,
  4. not at all?

Help would be much appreciated.

Default Re: BES this is serious :)

Currently, the BlackBerry Bridge will let you access the same BES data that is on your BlackBerry phone. So, as long as your phone is connected to BES/Exchange, then the PlayBook can see that data and edit it (as long as the Bridge is actively connecting the PlayBook to the phone).

Soon (possibly summer), there will be stand-alone apps for Calendar, Contacts, Task, and Notes on the PlayBook. How these will connect, and if they will connect to BES/Exchange, is still unknown.
