Default Uninstall BBM - what happens to contacts/messages?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi. I have the Curve 8330 v 4.5.0.127 with BBM 5.0.2.12.

I don't want BBM on my curve anymore. Plus I also want to shake the one contact that I've been talking with using BBM. If I were to uninstall BBM (I assume using Desktop Manager or on the Curve via Advanced Options/Applications?) then:

1. Will I disappear from my contact's contact list (same as if I deleted them)?

2. If no to # 1 and the person tries to send me a message, will the message fail? What will they see/get in terms of feedback?

Thanks!

BBM is part of the base OS and can't be deleted like other applications.
You would need to locate and remove the COD files from your PC and then Desktop Manager would remove them.
I don't believe you will "disappear" from the other person's BBM.

I believe that newer versions of BBM - which may not run on v4.5 which is pretty old - allow you to ignore invitations from people.

Thanks for the reply. Re: uninstalling - I'm confused. It looks like I can select "Delete" BBM under Advanced Options/Applications. Doesnt this remove BBM from my Curve?
