I am looking to confirm that there is full compatibility between the BB9800 Bold OS v5.0.0.405 (Platform 5.1.0.112) running on ATT with BES and my new Playbook running OS 1.07.3312. For some reason I have trouble creating or replying to e-mail and getting it across the bluetooth bridge to be sent via the BES. Sometimes with short messages it works, but most often the send icon goes dim and either only the first few words bridge or most often, nothing happens. Any thoughts? I only seem to have issues with this function. Incoming mail bridges without any issue.

The 9800 is a Torch and runs OS 6.0, so do you have a 9800 or is it a 9700 (Bold II), or a 9000 (Bold I)?

In any case, the bridge is fully supporte on OS 5.0, 6.0 and 7.0 with or without BES. I use it with my 9800 on BES without difficulty.

My error, my phone is a 9700 Bold. (fat fingered)

I have uninstalled BB bridge on my phone and reinstalled as well and still the same problem. Opened a case ticket with BB support but no success so far.

Still looking to see if anyone else has experienced the same issue.

Did AT&T ever approve/release the bridge software?

Yes. AAT did release bridge. If you wish to bridge to the www you need a tethering plan from ATT. The bridge in bluetooth mode will allow you to access your e-mail, calender, etc. via your BB phone.
