Hello,

I accidentally broke the connector on the PB where I plug to charge. How can I go about fixing it or getting it fixed. Thank you

the mini usb connector on the end of the wire or the magnetic connector on the
end of the wire ?

You need to detail exactly where it's broken. Replies will depend on that detail.

On the mini usb part of the PB (port), there is the little 'male' the connects to the 'female' part of the usb side of the cable, well the 'male' piece broke off on the PB port. I see 4 contact points in PB only. I hope I am clear.

Before you get your hopes up too high, just pointing out that this forum isn't associated with Research In Motion. It is privately owned and staffed by volunteers.

Thanks . Remember as NJ stated we are all just users of the forum site and make suggestions based on either our experience or from reading others suggestions posted here and on pother sites.

Ok so now that the problems seems to be the mini usb connector on the PB , if your good at working on electronics you may be able to replace the connector yourself. Do a Google search on the internet and you will se a few YouTube postings that can lead you in a direction needed. It will require use of a soldering iron and extreme caution in the disassembly but it seems doable.

If your unable to do the repair your only solution is to send it for repair to a company doing such.
