Default Playbook software development

Please Login to Remove!

Got myself a playbook because the price was right and wanted to do some software development. I'm pretty impressed at how slick the system works, but very dissapointed at the developer tools. Why is everything at such a low level? There isn't even an API with basic graphic tools like: frames, radio buttons, text boxes. Found a 3rd party library called skia but haven't got it to work. The examples are good for getting started with hello world type stuff but don't show you how to go any further. Same for the help tutorials. This is about what I expect when I get a micro-controller eval kit with no display; I was expecting a graphical development environment.

Also, is this the only place to get support? There are only 5 threads with "playbook" in them. Where is everybody? What am I missing?

thanks
Ken
