lets see if i can ask this correctly.
when i choose to view all contacts i have 2308
when i choose to view the ones that are synced with my oulook.com account i get 1851 (when i go to outlook.com i see 1860 contacts)
when i choose to view the ones that are synced with outlook on my computer (its not linked to my outlook.com account but just a backup of my phone from bb link sync) i get 1683

if someone can explain to me what is going on and how i can have 2308 contacts in all three places (ill figure out how to get rid of the doubles another time) i would greatly appreciate it.

Generally the method to sync with Outlook depends on the listing sequence in the phone vs. the Outlook sequence. Duplicate are sometimes ignored and depending on the listing sequence on the phone contacts are dropped.
