Default BB Pearl

Please Login to Remove!

can anyone verify that the new Pearl can sync via bluetooth instead of cable?

I know on my 7100t I wasnt able to succesfully use bluetooth to connect to my PC.

RF reception? How is it? I know it was talked about it on here about having bad reception.

BT works fine, including BT DUN for wireless internet tethering. Too early to comment on cell RF.

Yes you can on a 7100, its 4.1 Handheld software and 4.1 Desktop Manager is all you need so of course Pearl can do it (if you still cant do it with 4.1 all around you may have an IT polcy restricting it)

help me out here... i just upgraded to the 4.1 desktop manager. I still cant get bluetooth to work. says no device found.

you mention i need to upgrade my phone as well to 4.1. where can i get this for my 7100t?

Works fine - had my Motorola HS850 hooked up in no time.

woohoo... ok, i've updated my phone as well. I get the new OS look.

however, still having problems with the BT.

I figured out why i was still having BT connection issues after updating my BB to 4.1.

Our BES is not on the correct version which supports BT sync.

Same here. No problem with a headset, but I can't sync to BlackBerry Connect software at all through bluetooth.

Anybody got it working?
