A BB newbie could really use some help here. I have attempted to load google maps multiple times on my white BB Pearl. When I attempt to run the app it gives me an error and doesnt work at all. It does the same thing for google search, and google news. I have fiddled with the APN settings by putting in wap.voicestream.com, but that didn't work. Any ideas???

Try this.

Goto

Options -> Advanced Options -> Applications -> Click on Google Maps -> click on edit permissions -> click on reset firewall prompts.

Allright so what I found out is that I wasn't installing Google Maps, but Google Services. So I deleted Google Services off of my BB and installed the stand-alone Google Maps. So I did a hard reboot on the phone and now when I go into Google Maps it loads up and after a second it prints:
