I downloaded the new version of google maps last night. I had no problem installing it and running it until i was on the map screen and pressed the menu button. When I pressed the menu button, the menu came up and then disappeared behind the map screen. When I scrolled my track ball, the menu would flicker behind the map. I was still able to select features from the menu, I just couldn't see what I was selecting. Other than that it works great. Has anyone else had this problem? By the way, I am on t-mobile and am running 4.2.0.64 on my handheld.
Yes, I tried pulling the battery several times and no luck. I just downloaded os 4.2.1.66 also. That didn't change anything either. I sent an email to google last night, but still no reply.
I'm having the same problem with my menu disappearing behind my maps in the current version. I've reinstalled, pulled the battery and I tried reinstalling it as a bundle, but that didn't work either.

Most of the time this is caused by the theme you use. If the menu window itself has a very light opacity to it then that causes your menu window to hide and flicker. I suggest you try a default theme or a theme that has solid colors instead.
