Angry HELP: Motorola HS810 Pairing Problem

Please Login to Remove!

I'm trying to my Motorola HS810 to my 7250. I am following the directions as stated for the HS810. Close the boom, press and hold the Multifunction button until the headset indicator turns on. Release the button, then open the headset boom. When I opened the headset boom the indicator goes off. What am I doing wrong?

Thank you for your help.

OK... when you close the boom and hold the button down, keep holding it down. It will start by turning on the light, then as you keep holding it down, it will begin to flash the light. Once the light is flashing, open the boom and do the discovery/pairing on the handheld.

cd.

Thanks Corey@12mile
I had not been able to get mine to work until I found your reply above! I had searched all over for help....and tried many times to get it to work. I used it before with my V600 and it paired up easily so I was puzzled as to what was going on.
Thanks again!

IIRC you're not doing anything wrong. I don't think the indicator remains lit after the boom is opened. You need to then search for the headset on your Blackberry. In other words, just move on to the next step in the instructions.
