Default Media card: format failed.......

Please Login to Remove!

I just got a new Blackberry and a 1gb Micro SD card and it always says format failed, I have no idea how to get it working and its driving me insane is there anyone who has been through this?

I just recieved my 2GB microSD and I'm wondering how to format it also?

Try doing a battery pull and leave it our for 30 seconds or so. Pop it back in and try to format the card again. If that doesn't work, try formatting your card from your computer.

This happened to me with my first 4GB memory card. I formatted via phone and computer with no success. So I then had to send my memory card back for an exchange.

i'm having the same problem. I need to know how to format the card. Pulled battery and same thing. Will i have to buy a micro sd card reader and hook it to my computer to format? i'm on a mac.

having the same problem with my 4gb. Phone or PC won't format the card so I'm sending it back for a exchange....

Unhappy Experiencing the same problem...but for the 8130 Pearl

I formatted the card on the blackberry as well on the computer....is this card readable again????

When I got my pearl the 2 gig card worked and then I formatted, and the pearl would never recognize it, had to get it swapped out.
