You can do faster and still free spell check on your BlackBerry, even when out of coverage, with the BEIKS' free LexSpell spell checker for the BlackBerry.
I'm using Lexspell, sent my donation, and have migrated it to a new device. I prefer the ability to spell check without sending info to another server - not for security reasons so much, but it seems quicker.
I have been using bbcorrector for a while and it stopped working 2 days ago.
The error I am receiving is "BBCorrector Error: Unable to Open Connection"
Service Provider - Cingular (now AT&T)
BB Model- 8700
OS Version - v4.1.0.194
BES? - No
Do You have the correct APN settings for your provider? Yes, see below.
APN:wap.cingular
Username for APN:WAP@CINGULARGPRS
Password:CINGULAR1
BBCorrector Settings:
--Server URL - None
--Language - en
--Disable MDS - Checked
--Use Google - Checked
--AutoAdvance - Checked
Permissions are all set for ALLOW
Was it previously working? - Yes
Does anyone have an idea what is causing my problem? Thanks!
I can't seem to get it working. I think it's a server thing. I can't seem to connect to the servers listed. I can get it to work (spelling option is there) but keeps giving me a 400 error. Anyone out there able to help me out?
I don't see the same options as above. Maybe I have an old version. Where can I get a newer version for my BB 7250??

Reason: additional info
I am so confused... I get the same error as everyone else. How do you fix this? Is there a download site? I am wireless, so I cannot use a cable to download any applications via USB
For anyone getting Open Tunnel Failure or Invalid URL Parameter: i had the same error and what I did was go to Options> Advanced Options>TCP> APN: wap.voicestream.com, username and password are blank. This is for T-Mobile (sorry about that). Also in the BB corrector ensure that the URL is http://bbnextanza.com, username, pw are blank. Language is en and all 3 thru boxes should be checked.
Can someone tell me what version of handheld software for the 8800 actually works with the latest BBCorrector? I am continually getting the Uncaught Java error regardless of what i do. I am currently running
