hi,was wondering,,im in the usa over the coming week,,was wondering if this site can help me,,iv used a bb on t-mobile uk,,,

1) is the bb bold available in the usa yet,if so,,can it work on t-mobile in the uk
2) can the bold be bought sim free,,or will it need to be unlocked,,

be very greatfull for any information on this subject,,,,or can anybody point me in the right direction to buy the bb bold

So the bold can't be bought without a sim or contract?Then i guess my only option is to get it from resellers....btw how do we know we aren't being sold refurbished phones when we purchase from resellers?Thanks to whoever can answer these questions.

Right now the Bold isn't available from ANYONE - so it is tough to figure out what resellers will be marketing it. And you never know if a phone is refurbished if you buy it on the aftermarket.

Will be interesting to see if we'll be able to get the Bold SIM Free (and new!) before the carrier branded versions.

Until the 8120, the carriers always had first dibs, but with that model it was the other way round - plenty of SIM free stock but AFAIK carrier specific versions still now only available at O2 and Orange.
