Wirelessly posted (8703e Sprint: BlackBerry8703e/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/104)
Not sure how this happened, but when I installed then rebooted all of the messages in my message box were erased, and all of the folders from my BES connection disappeared. In addition, now when I reboot I get a java exception error.
I am going to do a handheld wipe (fun) and reinstall everything and see if I can figure it out/duplicate.
This is a wireless post, so my device info should show up. I am on Sprint, 8703e, 4.1.0.359.
Error is "Exception java.lang.ClassCastException"
Also, I can no longer access my phone dialer/log. Really weird.

I'm getting out of memory error, too. Have rebooted and also have deleted and reinstalled the app. No luck. Guess I'll try pulling the battery.
|
39260624 Bytes file free
66846720 Bytes total
That's without launching beyond411. BB is locked up when I launch and get the error message.
|
The battery pull didn't work, of course. Have gone back to version 3.91. Wouldn't mind using 4.0 beta 1 again.

Phil,
I too am getting the out of memory message when I upgraded to your latest version. File free = 26542152, file total = 63963136. I have a 7100i using software version 4.1.0.376, running through a BES.
Even with this problem, I've always enjoyed B411. Thanks for all your hard work.

Phil, did you go on vacation and forget to invite everyone? ;)
J/K let me know if there is anything I can do to help you test things out.

There is now a new beta release v4.02, usual location:
http://thebogles.com/beta/berry411.jad
This release adds a Maps menu item to the new school yellow pages.
I am hoping it will resolve the out of memory errors that some are seeing and perhaps give better error mesages in the event of network issues.
Thanks for your feedback.

Works
Thank you very much. This new version seems to work. No errors, loaded fine.
Checked out the new features, and they are great. Like the new yellow pages, and the reintroduction of the "map" feature.
Thank you for another great application. I will let you know if I have any issues, comments, suggestions.

Telus 7130e BIS, this new version loads and runs fine (4.01 would not start)
Network autocomplete works but the new yellow pages does not - I have to disable it to get any results. Haven't been able to get new yellow pages to work in previous configurations either.
