[QUOTE=crs;652749]Locking up is an application permission issue. Go to the BB Home Screen (icons) select settings / options / security options / application permissions. Edit PocketDay and set everything to Allow.

I tried that and still didn't work. I have no idea because it seems like I am the only one having the problem.

I downloaded a prior version whose trial expired two weeks ago. I downloaded this version and got the error message "evaluation period expired." I deleted it off my system, redownloaded and get the same message. I'm sure it's picking it up from the prior trial version. Any ideas of how to fix?

It would also be nice if the documentation was up to date for the most recent version.

Nice upgrade. Glad to finally be able to add tasks and appointments directly from an email with the 4.1 OS.

Ah, that's better. The ribbon is cool and a great feature but, until I figure out what's causing the huge delay when I use it to switch views on my 8800, my desire is limited to learn to get better control over my trackball.

I have over 7,000 calendar entries. But why would that cause the problem (i.e., it being lightening fast getting into an entry, but slow coming out)?

Is it possible to remove some of the categories from the memo section, without removing them from the bb altogether

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830: BlackBerry8830/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

I installed the program and later deleted it. For me, it was an issue of preference.

bigberry,

Currently PD shows all the categories, but we are going to add a feature to allow the user to show only selected categories.

I'm trying to download version 5. I refreshed the screen as you advised several posts above-- still get version 4.25. I even went into the browser Cache Settings and deleted all cache-- still get version 4.25

EDIT-- I now see why- I had your old link of crossriverysystems.com instead of pocketday.com--- that kept bringing me to 4.25 no matter what I did--- getting version 5 now.

CRS that's great, i think that i would use this function a lot but the amount of categories i have mean that it would deter me from doing so.
Once again thanks for a great upgrade

What was an issue of preference? I would like to know what you didn't like and I am sure the guys at CRS would too. I think this program is great, considering the constraints the developers have to work with within the BB OS. There are many additional things I would like to see, but as I understand it, they are not possible due to OS limitations. One thing I can say is that there are not a lot of programs that give you major upgrades for free, I have been upgrading since V3.x for free.

Default tasks bug?

It seems like when you enter a new task in version 5, if you select a "due" date, you're also forced to select a "reminder" date.

Has anyone found a workaround for this? I've resorted to entering tasks thru the native Task program.

Pocketday, any hopes for this being fixed in a patch if it is a bug?

Default Question

At the top of the screen between the date/time and battery level icon is a envelope with a #2 above it.
Any idea what this is for?

I have been using this program since my 8700 (3 bb ago). This is the single best program I have ever used. The additions are spectacular. I have purchased this for my wife, co-workers, and even my 10 year old son. It is the single must have piece of software for the bb. That is my preference. Keep up the great work, CRS.
