Too confusing as to what will help fix the problem and not just adjust it to have it happen again. It is soooooo annoying! It goes off when I hang up, get a message, open up my camara, send a message, facebook and you can NOT make it stop. Seems to pick up whatever the audio message was. Now I have some little kid saying, "whaz up cuz, get it together player..." CRAZY!

If all three of you had read the thread you would see the solution.

I have the same problem with my blackberry tour. i tried calling verizon tech support and they didn't know how to solve the problem. I tried to take out the battery and it didn't work. i read the message about the messaging data problem but is there any way to fix the problem without using the computer?

You might try updating your OS. Also please update your profile as it says 8330 and you said you have a Tour. For info on the latest OS for the Tour, see stickies at the top of this section.
