Did they agree to put the $5.99 t-zones with no problem?

The obvious reason that Tmo don't want you to get the $5.99 Tzone with the BB is that they want you to add the $19.99 unlimited plan, if you have unlimited texting (MMS, SMS) I believe it includes IMs as well, so there's no need to worry about the data charges made by IM applications. A thin line of crap, just a way to milk us.

I called and they added the 5.99 web plan but opera or tzones web browsing would not work so I called back in and the lady said that the 5.99 plan wont work. I also checked and for some reason the blackberry feature enabler and the 5.99 web plan wouldnt show up simultaneously on my account, it was either one or the other.

Same here.. just got back from the mall... Went to the sale Rep that sold me the BB. She tried to enable 5.99 T-Zone for me. An error popped up, saying that it wouldnt let me get both. Either T-Zone or BB Feature Enabled... Not both.... So I took the 5.99 and now on my screen, instead of "T-Mobile" it say "Data connection refu..." Any ideas?

As seen on my screenshot on me earlier post, tzones and blackberry enabler show up fine on my tmobile.com. And I can personally confirm that opera mini and JiveTalk work after I put in the apn settings. Lite feeds 2.5 also works too.

is unlimited tzones and unlimited t-mobile web the same thing cause the one you are paying for is 2.99 for some reason and when I added it, it showed up as unlimited t-mobile web 5.99.

That's the grand fathered price before they raised the price to 5.99, it used to be 2.99 lol it's exactly the same thing. I believe tmobile web was even at 4.99 once

Tell them that you alternate using phones and that you don't want t-zones on the Pearl but on your other phone, call a different rep if not successful. The first time I called some rep told me that there was no such thing as the "bb featured enabler", I called again and this time someone knew what it was, go figure.

Would I be able to use the Gmail bb app to check my mail if I got the BB feature enabler + $5.99 t-zones?

If JiveTalk works, I assume that app would too?

Enable the blackberry plan with the csr on the phone. Afterwards log onto my tmobile.com and change the phone to some basic phone. Then you'll be able to get the 5.99 plan by yourself on the website.
