This is cool...we are all nuts!
Never turn mine off.. set to phone only profile at night...
Right next to me on the night stand....
Alarm set to 6, so I'm up before the market opens on the East side!
Charge it through PC while at work....
And, that episode of Seinfeld where George is eating the sandwich in bed is hilarious! hahahahah

Mine powers down at 11, but I bring it up and put it on my nightstand because I use it as an alarm. I have the tune set to Tune_Trance, it's annoying (and my wife despises it) so I know it's effective.
Tune_Trance wakes me up every morning at 6, I do a blurry eyed scan of emails, then do a more in depth read after I let the dog out and have a cup of coffee.

Observation: Interesting how many people use the phone as an alarm. I thought I was one of the few who did that.
I have experimented with different tones, as others have. I use the Jetsons theme. Pleasant sound.
Anyone want a Marine Corp drill instructor swearing at you in the morning, via R. Lee Ermey in Full Metal Jacket? I have some of those. Hmm.... might not be a good idea, you may toss your Pearl against the wall.

I shut 'er off downstairs when I turn in. When I'm awake and brave enough I turn it on to see what Santa left me overnight.

Actually, this is the first handset that I've used as an alarm. It's just an excuse to have my Pearl near me at all times.

I'm the same as you kasperapd, I put it on Phone Only profile but with blocked calls though. The only people allowed to call me is my neighbor (for emergency purposes since they are pretty old ladies and I love them and they love me ) and my best friend.
I rarely charge my BB, but it goes to sleep beside me... and goes everywhere I go.

Mine is my alarm, so it goes, very lovingly, on my nightstand. The first thing I do in the morning is roll over and see how many emails I got in the night. It's usually around 4, but this morning I had 11.

I've been using my mobile phones as alarm clocks for quite long time and the possibility of setting reocurring alarms is one of the most important features while choosing a phone.
I've been using the pearl's calendar as my alarm clock because I go to work at different times almost each day.
Now however, I have the great app called MobyloMultiple Larams and it's awesome.

It's a great program. Thanks to that Szadzik for mentioning it.
It's free for now and they intend to come out with a new version.
You can get it here.

This thread deals with the Pearl in the house [or any BB].
It is way off topic to mention one's perverted acts that take place in the elevator.
By the way, are you registered with the State, if you know what I mean?

I installed this app. This morning there was this little chirp emanating from under the pillow. That's the trouble, it was a little chirp.
Is there a way to choose the alarm sound? Or will that be forthcoming in their full version of the program?
