simple qustion.

looking to move from curve to tour as im on verizon and i need a global phone and i didnt like the storm.

is there a way to move all my information, apps contacts emails to the tour from the curve?

Welcome. Within Desktop Manager there is a "Switch Device Wizard" which will transfer all of your data, contacts, e-mails, ....

Interesting. How is the Tour a "global" phone and the Curve is not?

I was recently in India and for like $60 extra with VZW was able to make and receive unlimited calls there on my Curve -- worked quite well.

I will soon be going to Dubai for a while and now have a Tour -- how will that be different? Thanks

OK - the Curve from Verizon is the model 8330. CDMA only. Will work in limited places outside of the US. India is one of them.

The Tour is CDMA and quad band GPRS/EDGE. Will work everywhere. A true Global phone.

thanks guys yeah went to ireland and montenegro it was a no go for my curve. i love the curve it kinda sucks to have to switch.

by the way im sure there are like a 100 thread son the tour, whats the verdict, any good?

I love mine. Was a little iffy before the .53 OS. But great now.
