Default BlackBerry Browser - More Option

Please Login to Remove!

Internet browsing issue with the BB device on some internet sites. Tried this on 7280 and 7290 devices.
Browser will display a page and then on the bottom there is a "more" to click on.
Getting message: web page was outdated and has been updated.

We tried Yahoo mobile site and it works fine. Instead of "more" we get a "back" option and can navigate just fine.

Were you using the 7290's supplied browser or specifically the BlackBerry "Internet Browser"? The icon looks like a globe with little colored "push-pin looking" people around it. I had the same issue w/ browsing non-WAP sites when using the supplied mMode browser from AT&T.

I simply called AT&T BB support and asked them to enable the Internet Browser for me and that solved the "more" problem. The icon for Internet Browser popped-up seconds later and I was in (slow-motion) browsing heaven!

Now I have an issue w/ SSL sites, but that's a different story.

The blackberry browser is definately a better option than the mMode supplied browser. Very easy and painless to download if you call AT&T and ask for it.

Default Conused

Just called ATT and was told that in order for them to enable the internet broswer it would cost more money...

Does that make any sense?

Thanks in advance,

Apparently, they didn't get the memo. Keep calling back until you get someone who knows what they are doing.

Good Luck,
Steve

Yeah... doesn't cost extra to get the browser. Keep trying.

I just talked to AT&T...they said that the MMode browser is the only one that they provide.
Tech that I talk to did state that we need to enable the Mobile Data Service through our BES server to get the regular internet/intranet.
Make sense to anyone?
