Hello everyone,

I would like to add an orange status icon for the BlackBerry Messenger's personalized status so I'm wondering how do I do that? I am definitely to this forum and to the BB world so I need a little help here.

Also, is it possible to completely disable the autotext/autocompletion thingy from my phone (such as BBM, sms, email, etc.)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Uhm.. not sure if i follow you but.. if you want an orange icon, that might be theme based. if you want an orange indicator, then you need a program like berrybuzz.

secondly if you go into the SpellCheck options in Options->SpellCheck and uncheck the option "Spell Check as you type" that should eliminate the auto complete. i THINK. i could be wrong.

Do you see the little status icons whenever you try or personalize your own status message? The ones that shows the green and busy icons? That I would like to add an orange image to the status icons.

You can't add custom icons like that. You'd have to re-code the BBM program, and RIM doesn't share the source code with ANYBODY.

Ouch! I'm hoping that custom status icons would be available in the next version of BBM.
