Just for the sake of spreading the word to anyone with one of these; Nokia are recalling a selection of their BL-5C batteries from various model handsets due to risk of overheating during charging. Last year 300 million BL-5C batteries were manufactured by Matsushita Battery Industrial Co. for use in Nokia handsets, and 46 million of these belong to a faulty batch.
So far one hundred incidents have been reported, although none of these were severe.
