OZMAIL is who AT&T/Cingular uses to send emails to/from Yahoo!, GMail, AOL, etc. on "regular" handsets. Wiping the BB or reinstalling the OS will not make it go away and not many support reps at ATT know what to do to make the message go away.
From what I have read about this, here are two possible solutions. Also heard that it finally stops after 14 days. If you don't have a text plan, it could be a very expensive 14 days, hence, I would go to solution 2 and call the carrier ASAP.
Resolution 1
Insert the SIM card back into the original mobile phone or device and remove the Mobile Email application. Once the Mobile Email application is removed, reinsert the SIM card into the BlackBerry smartphone.
Resolution 2
If the BlackBerry smartphone user does not have access to the original mobile phone or the Mobile Email service has been previously discontinued, and the issue persists, contact your wireless service provider for further assistance.
