UMA working from different carriers?

How is UMA working for everyone? With the previous generation of devices such as the 8120 and 8320, whatever was hard coded for UMA would work, but not with any other carrier, i.e. a Rogers 8120 with a TMO sim would not work for UMA on TMO, but one could add the TMO UMA info at the engineering level. If the reverse was the case, one could not add the Rogers UMA info to a TMO 8120 and therefore UMA would not work with a Rogers sim in a TMO 8120.
Since a lot of people are buying CBW or Canadian 9100's for TMO/ATT or the various Canadian carriers, what are the experiences so far in getting UMA to work? Does the 9100 have all the carriers UMA info hard coded or is this the same scenario as the previous generation devices?
