Default Camera coming on while on a call

Please Login to Remove!

I've noticed that when I'm on a call some times and I flip the screen open, it will be at the home screen but the background will be whatever the camera can see. It has happened about 5 times since upgrading the OS (not the .200 release but the previous one.)

It just seems pretty strange.

Are you sure you aren't accidentally turning on the camera with the right convenience key either before or while answering the call?
If it is a problem, you could test it by programming it to do a different function and seeing what happens. Or, disable it.

Still if the lid is closed, I wouldn't think it would come on either way.

The strange part is how the video becomes the background for the home screen. It doesn't actually launch the camera application.

Hmm my daily wake-up alarm didn't go off today. I opened my phone and the alarm screen was up but not "chiming" the phone was locked up with a 1 inch black square over the center of the screen. When I hit the power button I could see a dialog box edge peeping out underneath the black square. I popped the battery and reset. Working fine now.

Happens a lot to me as well. Overall, a pretty poor phone by bb standards. It has needed battery pulls like there is no tomorrow. Even with 2 OS upgrades. Sigh.

this is the f*** bug of this model maybe. I had this too before. Sometimes helps opening of the camera menu (left key with BB symbol) and activating of the function "close camera".
