Has anyone else had issue with the audio for VZ Navigator coming through the headset only and not the speakerphone?

I had been struggling with this since I got my Tour approx. 3 months ago. I say "had" because I finally figured out the issue. I removed the Google Mobile app. I guess the voice recognition feature in the app interferes with the libraries that enable VZNav audio to go through the speakerphone. You can leave Google Maps, but as soon as I remove the Google Mobile app everything worked correctly.

Does anyone have a 9630 with VZNav working correctly and Google Mobile App also installed?

I have the Garmin mobile (which is a onetime fee) & the data plan and google maps and mine works fine. No need for VZ nav.

Interesting you have Garmin- I wnet to thier site and it appears that Verizon is not uhowing supported nor is the 9630 Tour- So I assume the garmin site is out of date ?

Yes their site is not updated, you can call them and they will advise that it works fine on the Tour

...so only works within US or Canada if you have an ISO in an SD will not work. Still waiting for my refund
