I live in the UK and have some friends in America/Canada. If I BBM them from the UK will it charge me?

There will be no additional charge. It will be same as if you were messaging contacts in your country.

I have a question similar to this. I live here in the UK and have unlimited internet on my Blackberry. I'm going to Canada in a few days and was wondering whether I could still use BBM for free while I'm there to keep in contact with my friends in the UK?

I think I have to turn off all connections while I'm there otherwise I'll get charged for roaming right? So if I connect to wifi and use bbm through that, will it still be free?

If you turn off your GSM radio, but only use WiFi, you will be able to BBM for free while in Canada.
